COMMUNITY CARE network

A Community Care Initiative for Frontline Workers

how?

Hummingbird Ecotherapy & Recovery (HER) is inviting wellness spaces across Ontario to join a collaborative care network supporting frontline community workers through restorative, eco-informed wellness access.

Frontline workers hold our communities through physical, mental & emotional crisis, deep grief, violence support, systemic injustice through harm reduction & social justice work, yet the incredible people doing the hardest work are among the most under-supported, have the highest turn over rate and burn-out & compassion fatigue are at an all time high.

HER bridges that gap.

Our Process

  1. Partner With HER

Together, we co-design a sustainable offering. On your slow hours, sponsored sessions, or pay-it-forward spots. Together, we can help take care of those taking care of our communities.

WE Coordinate Access

Our team will handle outreach, vetting, and referrals so studios don’t manage eligibility or capacity requests.

Restorative Sessions Happen

Frontline workers receive slow, inclusive care.
Studios hold grounded, no-pressure spaces that support nervous system repair and sustainable capacity.

Grow & BUILD SAFER COMMUNITIES Together

Care ripples outward.
By supporting the people holding our movements, we strengthen safer, more resilient communities — and create a culture where giving back is woven into everyday wellness.
